ToggleWHAT HAPPENED?
After Luka Jovic scored his first goal for Milan shortly before half-time, United States international Pulisic turned on the style with a moment of magic under the lights. Goalkeeper Mike Maignan launched a goal kick up field, the 25-year-old was quickest to react, read the flight of the ball, and then set to work. With such ease, the winger took the ball in his stride with a delicious touch, held off the backpedalling defence with a 30-yard run, and then dinked a sumptuous chip past keeper Stefano Turati to make it 2-0 in the 50th minute.

THE BIG PICTURE
Milan need to get back to winning ways after their disappointing 3-1 defeat to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League in midweek. That result leaves their chances of reaching the knockout stages hanging by a thread but some positive results in Serie A may ease that European blow, somewhat.

WHAT NEXT?
After this match, AC Milan travel to Atalanta next weekend. Following that, they travel to Newcastle United on December 13 in the hope of keeping their slim Champions League hopes alive.
