ToggleWHAT HAPPENED?
Both players played crucial roles in the club's promotion from the National League, with McAlinden contributing in 11 appearances during the 2022-23 title success, and Hosannah making eight appearances. To facilitate their potential moves to non-League clubs outside the transfer window, Wrexham opted to pay up the contracts of McAlinden and Hosannah. This decision allows the players the freedom to sign for clubs even outside the standard transfer periods as they hit free agency.
